Will, has anyone challenged you on your Calvinism? Are you aware of the gnostic roots of that sect? It is a lens many pagans fall into as they try to subvert their guilt of a past life into some sort of great crown that they were given without any form of their own participation (minus the boasting of course). I pray you will see the chains. You should inteview Kevin Thompson from Beyond the Fundamentals, or Leighton Flowers, or John Mark Comer... or better yet, Mike Winger.
Hope you can see, brother, that the reformed Calvinism is just Catholic Paganism of the internal temple.
Hi Kai - You are deeply, deeply wrong about Calvinism, which for the sake of clarity is better called Reformed soteriology. I'd be happy to share a series of video debates on the subject, where Pastor Joel Ellis (who you can find here on Substack) explains over the course of 4+ hours the true biblical picture of God's sovereignty in salvation. His opponent Bruce Reeves is a Pelagian, whose theology you may have something in common with.
While I respect Mike Winger, John Mark Comer is importing New Age ideas into his theology. He all but says so in his promotional materials, when citing his influences. You using him as an example of a man to follow is not a credit to you.
Hopefully you're willing to be challenged to the same degree you challenge others. So respectfully, you don't have to take my word for it. I invite you to watch Pastor Ellis' debates and see if you have the correct understanding of Reformed soteriology.
EDIT: To save you time, here's video 1 of 4 in the Ellis/Reeves series, which was recorded this month.
