The times they are a'changing...
Hello Everyone, welcome to my new Substack, and the start of something big for the podcast.
While we’re here… Yes, the name of the podcast is changing. You’re the first to hear about it!
This shift will be taking place soon. You won’t miss it. When it happens, I’ll explain much more in-depth.
Until then, I had a choice of what to name this Substack. I decided I’d go with the new show name from the jump.
OK, let’s dive in with the important question.
What Is This Substack For … and Why Is It Paid??

1 of 6: Will Spencer “Uncensored” Episodes - EXCLUSIVE!
I’m excited about this one.
There are many thought leaders, authors, and influencers I’d like to talk to, so I can hear what they have to say. And I believe that their Freedom of Speech includes my right to hear.
This Substack will thus be the home for a new, subscribers-only series, “Will Spencer UNCENSORED.”
In these episodes, I’ll interview outspoken and controversial figures, and the paywall will give me the freedom to conduct open, honest (“uncensored”) discussions with these men and women.
I might also interview people I have fierce disagreements with. So, expect other changes, like:
I’ll be more confrontational than I usually am.
I’ll ask tougher questions, push back, and hold my guests’ feet to the fire.
I’ll interrupt when necessary, start debates if I have to, and even let things get heated.
These are things I don’t do in my main show, because that’s not what the show is about. That’s an important aspect of my brand, and I’d like to maintain it.
This new “UNCENSORED” brand will allow me to flex other aspects of my interviewing skills in a controlled and protected manner.
The interviews will almost certainly never be released to the public. Or if they do, they’ll be heavily edited.

2 of 6: Pre-Release, Ad-Free Episodes of the Podcast
Not every episode of the podcast will begin its life behind the paywall of this site, but many now will.
There won’t be a massive delay. (Think weeks, not months.) But the podcast now costs money to produce to a professional standard, which is why I’d like for it to begin supporting itself so that it can grow.
A brief time behind a paywall helps facilitate that, and reward loyal and engaged listeners who wish to contribute.
Episodes on Substack will be 100% ad free.
For clarity’s sake, all episodes other than the “Uncensored” series will still be released to the public.
In other words, for my normal podcast interviews that you’ve come to love, nothing will change but the release timing.
3 of 6: Community Chat
Substack has a great Chat feature, as well.
This will allow you to interact directly with me and fellow listeners, ask questions, and participate in the larger community.
The podcast has thousands of listeners all around America and the world! My prayer is that together, we can build even stronger bonds around the conversations that bring us together.
4 of 6: Sneak Preview My Book!
That’s right, I’m writing a book! I’m keeping the title and subject matter under wraps for now. But subscribers will get to read vignettes from the story, which you’ll have the opportunity to give feedback on.
Some bits of the book will be things I’ve never discussed anywhere else, including spiritual experiences I’ve never shared.
I’m both excited and kinda nervous to put them out there. But lemme tell ya, it’s wild out there.

One reason I haven’t invested in Renaissance of Men merchandise is because I knew the brand was going away. It doesn’t make sense to order inventory to support a retiring brand, does it?
But with the new podcast brand which I’m very excited about, I’m going to queue up a ton of merch (coffee mugs, stickers, t-shirts, ballcaps, etc.), with different items available with each tier of the subscription to the Substack.
